Clearinghouse Project on AI and Law

The aim of this clearinghouse is to highlight seminal and impactful articles focused on AI and its intersection with law, work, and society. We offer a searchable database of legal scholarly articles related to AI, its impact on various sectors, and the associated legal challenges.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an integral part of our society, transforming various aspects of work and decision-making processes. From job applications to criminal justice, education to healthcare, AI systems are increasingly involved in consequential decisions that affect people’s lives. While there’s a perception that AI-driven processes might be more objective or fair, emerging research has shown that these systems can perpetuate and even exacerbate existing biases and discrimination.

The AI and the Future of Work Program, founded by Professor Ifeoma Ajunwa at Emory Law, recognizes the urgent need to address the ethical, legal, and policy implications of AI in the workplace and beyond. As part of our commitment to fostering responsible AI development and use, we are pleased to present this clearinghouse project.

Below we highlight the seminal or topical articles in the following sensitive areas:

  • AI and Administrative Work
